Join the AZI
Why join?
Thanks to your membership of the Association Zen Internationale (AZI), you can:
- maintain the infrastructure and material resources necessary for the practice;
- support the efforts of those who run the practice on a voluntary basis;
- contribute to the spread of Zen in Europe.
What's more, your membership fee gives you access to:
- sesshins organised by the AZI at the Gendronnière Zen Temple;
- information on the life of the sanghas and places of practice;
- publications: La Revue Zen, which offers in-depth articles, translations and essential texts on Zen Buddhism, as well as the periodical Sangha, which shares news and information about the practice and life of the sanghas.
You also have:
- The right to vote at the annual General Meeting: your membership fee entitles you to attend this meeting, vote on the topics discussed, and receive the report summarising the guidelines and decisions made for the future.
- ‘Civil Liability/Personal Accident’ insurance: this covers the risk of accidents during practice, both in France and abroad. This insurance applies to all members of the association who have paid their annual subscription.
Finally, your dojo will benefit from:
- Insurance covering damage to the premises and equipment temporarily occupied by your dojo (less than 90 days), or for the organisation of sesshins within the framework of the AZI.
